Some jobs involve more risks than others. For example, if you happen to have a job in which you have to be out in the open wild, you obviously have a lot more risks than you would have if you actually worked at a dental office. For each job, there are different risks but, in this article I want to focus on how you should be dealing with injuries that you might get out in the field as your job may be a bit more risky than others. Here are some tips on how to deal with certain field injuries.
If you are ever facing the emergency of getting bitten by a snake, this is what you should do!
I know you might consider this a bit extreme but, for some people it is a definite real risk for them! Now, the first thing you should do if this ever happen to you is, get out of the snake’s way! Why would you want to get bitten by a snake twice? Now, you should try to identify which snake you were bitten by. I know this may seem a bit crazy for since you may be going crazy from getting bitten but, this is something that will help your doctor in knowing how to treat the injury once you get to the hospital. Now, another thing you should try doing is to keep the place where you got bitten from moving and try to keep track of the areas that got swollen thanks to the snake bite. Last but not least, the craziest step you should take in this kind of situation is to take is that if you achieve killing the snake that bit you, make sure you take it to the hospital in case you do not know which type of snake it is.
Getting hurt by fish hooks
This injury is actually a lot more common than you may think. Now, if you are ever faced with this scenario, you should try pushing down the hook (painful, I know) shank so that you can try to free it from the skin.
